Mother, Elle, hugging her son

Hi! I'm Elle

Thank you for being here! I'm Elle (like Ell-e). I live in Stroud with my partner Dylan, our baby boy Marley, and our cat, Layla. I have a degree in Early Childhood Studies, and after graduating worked in various childcare and education settings for nearly 10 years which I loved. I left my job in a primary school in Spring 2022 to go back to uni and study for a masters in Psychology of Mental Health and Wellbeing,  when I found out I was pregnant!

I discovered hypnobirthing and it blew my mindddd. I wasn't ready to stop talking about it after giving birth, so did my teacher training with KGHynobirthing, and started my own business! I LOVE my birth prep course but... I needed more birth! So I did my Doula training with Red Tent over summer in 2024, and am so happy to be offering more birth support! I also completed a Breastfeeding and Lactation: The Fundamentals course with Katie James, meaning I can also support you with breastfeeding (if you would like to see my certificates I am more than happy to share them with you during our Discovery Call!)

I know that my spirituality supported my birth prep, my birth experience, and postpartum. And it continues to support my motherhood journey now. It is so powerful and I know it will help you with your birth prep and transition to motherhood, too, which is why it's incorporated into all of my birth services. My Story

I alwayssss wanted children. Always worked with children and babies, and couldn't wait until I had my own. Only problem was giving birth. It really scared me - how painful it would be, how traumatic it could be, the thought of being really loud, or pooing! All of these fears actually made me question how much I really wanted my own children. Which knowing what I do now, is insane!

April 2022 I found out I was pregnant, and we were really excited. People very early on suggested Hypnobirthing to me. I genuinely thought it was just going to be breathing techniques and some relaxations - a bit too hippy dippy (even for a hippy dippy person like me) and not too helpful. But ohhhh how wrong I was. I started following lots of Hypnobirthing accounts on insta, then joined a few free lives explaining it all and omg... I loved it. It wasn't what I expected at all - it was so much more. I learnt so much, and my thoughts surrounding birth changed completely. My partner and I did a hypnobirthing course together and I just kept on reading and learning about birth. I also deepened my spirituality and did more journalling, self discovery, card pulling and work on myself than ever before. I went from feeling fearful to almost excited?! Which felt incredible!

I knew what my body was doing in labour and how to support it. I had total trust in my body and my baby. I tuned into and listened to my instincts. I knew my choices, types of birth, pain relief, the risks and benefits of everythinggggg - and what I did and didn't want. I felt knowledgeable; informed; confident; positive. All of these things gave me a sense of control over my birth, helped me know what to expect, and took all of my fear away.

I went from feeling terrified about birth, to feeling so positive and so prepared. All because of birth education and my spiritual journey! And I had a really incredible birth experience. The most amazing experience of my life.

And everyone deserves that. We should be knowledgeable about birth. We should know what's happening in our body, what our options are, the benefits and risks of everything, that we can say no, and how to reframe our thoughts on birth. We should know how to trust our bodies and our babies - that our instincts are strong and powerful.

I want you to be informed and prepared. Calm and confident. In tune with your body and your baby. And to feel so supported and oh so held. All so that you can make decisions that feel right for you and your baby, and to help you have a birth experience that you're proud of.

So, that's me! If there's anything else you'd like to know please do get in contact, I'd love to hear from you!
