Hi! I'm Elle
Thank you for being here! I'm Elle (like Ell-e). I live in Stroud with my partner Dylan, our baby boy Marley, and our cat, Layla. I have a degree in Early Childhood Studies, and after graduating worked in various childcare and education settings for nearly 10 years which I loved. I left my job in a primary school in Spring 2022 to go back to uni and study for a masters in Psychology of Mental Health and Wellbeing (which I'll be graduating from later this year!), when I found out I was pregnant! I discovered hypnobirthing and it blew my mindddd. I wasn't ready to stop talking about it after giving birth, so did my teacher training with KGHynobirthing, and started my own business!

I've created a course full of everything you need to know to get prepared for birth and caring for your newborn. I also provide a variety of other services to support you through pregnancy and parenting.
My Story
I alwayssss wanted children. Always worked with children and babies, and couldn't wait until I had my own. Only problem was giving birth. It really scared me - how painful it would be, how traumatic it could be, the thought of being really loud, or pooing! All of these fears actually made me question how much I really wanted my own children. Which knowing what I do now, is insane!

April 2022 I found out I was pregnant, and we were really excited. People very early on suggested Hypnobirthing to me. I genuinely thought it was just going to be breathing techniques and some relaxations - a bit too hippy dippy and not too helpful. But ohhhh how wrong I was. I started following lots of Hypnobirthing accounts on insta, then joined a few free lives explaining it all and omg... I loved it. It wasn't what I expected at all - it was so much more. I learnt so much, and my thoughts surrounding birth changed completely. My partner and I did a hypnobirthing course together and I went from feeling fearful to almost excited?! Which felt incredible!

I knew what my body was doing in labour and how to support it. I had total trust in my body and my baby. I tuned into and listened to my instincts. I knew my choices, types of birth, pain relief, the risks and benefits of everythinggggg - and what I did and didn't want. I felt knowledgeable; informed; confident; positive. All of these things gave me a sense of control over my birth, helped me know what to expect, and took all of my fear away.

I went from feeling terrified about birth, to feeling so positive and so prepared. All because of Hypnobirthing! And I had a really incredible birth experience. The most amazing experience of my life.

And everyone deserves that. We should be knowledgeable about birth. We should know what's happening in our body, what our options are, the benefits and risks of everything, that we can say no, and how to reframe our thoughts on birth. We should know how to trust our bodies and our babies - that our instincts are strong and powerful.
I want you to be informed and prepared. Calm and confident. In tune with your body and your baby. All so that you can make decisions that feel right for you and your baby, and to help you have a birth experience that you're proud of.

So, that's me! If there's anything else you'd like to know please do get in contact, I'd love to hear from you!
